What is it?
Imagine never needing to replace the brake pads on your car. With Crown’s e-GEN™ system, maintenance-free braking is a reality – for your lift truck, at least!

The e-GEN™ Braking System uses AC motor torque, instead of wearable brakes, to slow the truck. This significantly lowers maintenance costs by eliminating the need to replace or adjust wearable parts.

e-GEN features variable braking based on pedal position, seamless integration with the Intrinsic Stability System, and an automatic parking brake.
